Started reading a new book…
Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.
There’s two remember, but I’ve only seen the American version (Let Me In).
Can’t really remember it being exessivly gory… but I’ve read that the Swedish one (thats Let The Right One In) *is* pretty gory. I mean, IMB talks about getting the foley sound fx extra realistic in certain scenes… so I’m thinkin that alone’s guna be kinda graphic. They both seem to be faithful to the storyline though!
Let Me In was the title of the original novel too. So maybe just read the book? Then it won’t be visually gory exactly… unless you have a really good imagination, lol.
Sorry… kinda totally geeked out there 😶
The Hobbit is a story about massive introvert who was forced to go outside.

Merlin the Magician Magic KitI’v…
It simply isn’t an adventure worth telling if there aren’t any dragons.
Isn’t it odd how much fatter a book gets when you’ve read it several times? As if something were left between the pages every time you read it. Feelings, thoughts, sounds, smells…and then, when you look at the book again many years later, you find yourself there, too, a slightly younger self, slightly different, as if the book had preserved you like a pressed flower…both strange and familiar.
my life is a little too much panic and not enough disco
my life is a little too much fall and not enough boy
my life is a little too much chemical and not enough romance
My life is too much imagination and not nearly enough FUCKING DRAGONS
As a little girl I always dreamt of the handsome and brave prince from the fairytales. As a woman I only meet dragons and beasts. Now I’m the brave one with my own sword and shining armor.
